About Northern Midlands BBQ Facilities

Northern Midlands Council encourages residents to enjoy the many family-friendly parks with playgrounds and BBQ facilities throughout the municipality, including Nile Park, Victoria Square (Longford), and Valentine Park (Campbell Town).

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Northern Midlands?

BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.

During Total Fire Ban: Only electric and gas BBQs permitted.

Check fire restrictions at fire.tas.gov.au.

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

Power is available for use at Victoria Square, Longford and Valentine Park, Campbell Town.
